Oasis Wind Farm

Windland has assembled and purchased approximately 100 parcels of land over an eleven-year period in order to develop the Oasis site in Mojave, California. The wind resource on this property is regarded as one of the best in California.

After environmental work was completed and zoning was granted, Windland partnered with enXco, a division of the French utility company, EDF as co-developer of the project. By late 2004, sixty 1MW Mitsubishi turbines were installed on the site. The clean energy produced by this project is being sold to San Diego Gas & Electric, and produces enough electricity to power 14,000 households.
