Windland was founded in 1982 by industry entrepreneur, Roald Doskeland. At the time, the industry was still in its infancy. Since then, Windland has installed, commissioned, and operated many generations of wind turbines. Over the last two decades, few windfarm operators have had more experience with a wider range of wind power technology than Windland.
Since 2006, Roald has enjoyed working with his son, Bjorn Doskeland. In late 2011, Bjorn Doskeland succeeded Roald as President and Ginger Doskeland became CEO. Before joining Windland, Bjorn was a CPA auditing large public corporations with a “Big 4” accounting firm. Bjorn also holds an Accounting degree, with minors in Computer Science and Spanish from George Fox University. Ginger has a background in sales and marketing and has been involved with the company since its inception in 1982.
Together, Bjorn and Ginger are excited to continue the company’s tradition of excellence and integrity and further the company’s mission of developing clean, renewable energy.
